What is Scan to PDF?
Your phone camera is a decent scanner. Take pictures of each page, add them here and get one tidy PDF with an optional black-and-white document look that makes text easier to read. The photos are processed inside your browser, so personal papers never leave your phone.

Tips for better results
Place the paper on a flat, dark surface in good light and hold the phone straight above it. Avoid shadows on the page. The black-and-white look boosts contrast, which suits printed text but can wash out photos, so use original colours for pictures. For the cleanest result with very light pages, try the PDF Scanner tool.
Good to know before you start
Good scans start with good photos. Lay the paper flat, switch off the flash to avoid glare and make sure all four corners are inside the frame. Take one photo per page and keep the same distance for each, so pages end up the same size. The tool then places every picture on its own page: with the A4 option the image is scaled to fit inside the page with a small margin, and with the same-size option each page takes the exact proportions of its photo. The black-and-white document look raises contrast and removes colour, which also tends to make the finished PDF smaller than a full-colour version.
