What is Crop PDF?
Wide margins waste space on a screen and on paper. This tool trims the same distance from all four sides of every page, so the content fills more of the sheet. It works by changing the visible area of each page, which is quick and does not reduce the sharpness of text or images.
How to crop a PDF
- Upload the PDF that needs trimming.
- Enter the number of millimetres to remove from each side. The starting value is 10 mm.
- Press Start to apply the crop to every page.
- Download the file and look at a few pages to see whether the margin is right; run the tool again on the original with a different number if not.

Tips for better results
The same amount is trimmed from the top, bottom, left and right, so check that no text sits close to the edge. Cropping hides the outer area rather than erasing it, which means the data may still exist in the file. If you need to remove sensitive content permanently, use Redact PDF instead.

Can I crop each side by a different amount?
This tool uses one value for all sides. For uneven margins, crop with the smallest margin and repeat if needed.
Does cropping delete the hidden part?
No. It hides the area outside the new page box. Use Redact PDF for permanent removal.
Will the text quality change?
No. Pages are not converted into pictures.
Is the file uploaded to a server?
