What is PDF to PowerPoint?

Need to present pages from a PDF? This tool renders each page as a picture and places it on its own slide in a .pptx file, sized to match the page. The slides look like the original pages, though the text on them is a picture and cannot be edited.

How to convert PDF to PowerPoint

  1. Add your PDF.
  2. Press Start. Each page is drawn and added as a slide.
  3. The deck takes the proportions of the first page.
  4. Download the .pptx and open it in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.

Tips for better results

Since slides are images, you cannot edit the words. For editable text, use PDF to Word and copy it into a deck. Large PDFs create large presentation files.

Good to know before you start

Each page is rendered at a resolution suited to screens and inserted as a picture that fills a slide. The slide size is calculated from the first page of your PDF, so portrait documents become portrait slides and wide pages become widescreen slides. Because everything is a picture, the look is faithful to the PDF, including fonts, charts and logos, but you cannot edit the words. This is ideal when you need to present or comment on a document in a meeting. If you want editable text, convert to Word instead and copy the text into your own template. Large PDFs create large .pptx files, so consider extracting only the pages you will present.
