What is Organize PDF?
Pages in the wrong sequence can be fixed in one step. Type the order you want, for example 3, 1, 2, 4-6, and the tool builds a new PDF that follows it exactly. Because you control the list, you can also repeat a page or leave pages out.
How to reorder PDF pages
- Upload the PDF you want to rearrange.
- In the New page order box, type the page numbers in the order they should appear.
- Press Start to create a new document with your sequence.
- Download organized.pdf and check the first and last pages.
When Organize PDF is useful
Fixing scan order
Correct a stack of pages that went through the scanner in the wrong order.
Moving a summary to the front
Put the conclusion or cover page where readers expect it.
Repeating a page
Use the same form page several times in one file by listing its number more than once.
Tips for better results
Write the full list, including pages that stay where they are. Any page you do not mention is left out of the new file, which also makes this tool a quick way to drop pages. Ranges such as 4-6 are expanded in order, so 6-4 also works as 4, 5, 6.
Good to know before you start
This page order tool is different from drag-and-drop thumbnails: you type a list, which makes it precise and quick for long documents. Say you have a 12-page file and want the last page first; type 12, 1-11. To repeat a form page three times, type its number three times in a row. Pages you leave out are dropped, so it doubles as a quick way to build a shorter version of a document. Because pages are copied without conversion, text stays selectable and the file size stays close to the original. The new file is saved as organized.pdf and your original is never modified.
