What is ODT to PDF?

This is a text conversion. Images, tables and styles inside the ODT are not carried over. For a full-fidelity export, use File → Export as PDF in LibreOffice itself.
Good to know before you start
An .odt file is a ZIP package whose main part, content.xml, holds the text of your document. The converter unpacks it in memory, removes the markup and keeps paragraph and line breaks. Headings become ordinary lines and lists become lines of text, because styles are stored elsewhere in the package and are not applied here. This makes the tool a fast way to get at the words of an OpenDocument file when you do not have an office program available, for example on a library computer. When you do have LibreOffice, its built-in PDF export will give you the full design.
